Amanda "Mandy" Ruth has been named the 2024 Woman of the Year by the Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women. 

Amanda "Mandy" Ruth, left, has been named the 2024 Woman of the  Year by the Upper Perkiomen BPW.  Joining her are PA Representative Milou Mackenzie, Chairperson of the Woman of the year Verona Roden- berger, and UPBPW President Vicki Lightcap McCarrick.

                Ruth joined the UPBPW in 2019 and quickly jumped in and offered to keep track of the memberships volunteer hours by chairing the Eleanor Knock Award Committee. She still does this task to the present day.

            As part of the governing board, she took over the instrumental position of treasurer. She had vision and direction and kept the BPW on point with district and state policies and procedures.

            Ruth worked with the 2nd Vice President and President to streamline bookkeeping procedures and the reporting and budget process.
