Back Home Butcher Shop, specializing in pasture-raised, locally farmed beef, is holding a grand opening on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. until 3 pm in their new butcher shop (right next door to the old butcher shop), 720 Morwood Road, Telford, PA 18969.
The shop, owned by Upper Hanover residents Scott and Jessica Gehman, will feature freshly cut beef available for purchase and special sale prices on cuts from the freezer.
Back Home Bespoke bacon burgers, with all-natural artisan bacon, will be on the grill starting at 11:30 a.m., so come join the Gehmans for lunch.
The steers processed by Back Home Butcher Shop are raised on local farms by farmers who care about each animal. They are hormone and antibiotic free. The steers are slaughtered at a USDA facility, they are then delivered to the butcher shop where they are hung in a cooler to dry age for 10-14 days. The steer is then processed to the customer’s individual requests.
Back Home Butcher Shop’s motto is “One cow, One farmer, One butcher.” Scott Gehman has over 30 years of butchering experience and takes orders from individual cuts to whole steers. Back Home routinely runs special pricing and also accepts online orders and PayPal.
Bespoke bacon, featuring a variety of traditional and unique flavors of all-natural dry-aged bacon, will also be having a grand opening. Bespoke is now occupying back Home’s former butcher shop space.
Neighboring Paws-itively Healthy, a dog day and overnight care facility, will also be featured. Need a place to keep your dog when you go away? Stop by and check out the facilities.
