Elva C. Stevens

Elva C. (Fillman) Stevens, 99, widow of Nelson W. Stevens of South Pasadena, California and formerly of East Greenville for 90 years, died on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at her daughter’s home.

Born in East Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fillman.

Elva was a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and WELCA (Lutheran Church Women). She worked for Perkiomen National Bank and the Upper Perkiomen School District, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her volunteer work included Meals on Wheels and the Community Thrift Store.

Surviving are three children, John N. Stevens and wife, Patricia, of Franklin, Indiana, Ann C. Raymond and husband, John, of South Pasadena, CA and Mary L. Stevens and husband, Charles Musser, of State College, PA and two grandchildren, Kevin Raymond of Ukiah, CA and Brian Raymond of San Clemente, CA.
