Eva M. Woodward
Eva M. Woodward, 97, of Frederick Living, and formerly of Sumneytown, died August 16, 2012. She was the wife of the late Oren Woodward who died in 2002. Prior to his death, they were married for 69 years.
Born in Finland, she was a daughter of the late William “Pete” and Eva (Kline) Pfrommer.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown. She was also a life member of the Green Lane Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Boulder Valley Gun Club. Eva was an avid Bingo player. She and her husband traveled extensively. She loved hunting, fishing, and gardening and especially enjoyed riding her lawnmower.
She is survived by two sons, Mark and his wife Linn, of Green Lane, and Peter of Sumneytown; a daughter, Jean, wife of Kerwin Boyer, of Milford, Delaware; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Hope Long, of Sumneytown. She was predeceased by brothers, John and Luther, and a sister, Florence.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. All are invited to a visitation at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown.
