Phyllis J. Young
2012-08-22

        Phyllis J. (Miller) Young, 85, widow of John “Cal” Calvin Young, of Pennsburg, PA, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Manor Care, Allentown, PA.

Born in Powder Valley, PA she was a daughter of the late H. Guldin and Verna (Miller) Miller.
She worked for over 32 years at the former Pillsbury Company retiring in the early 1990’s. 
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg and was a member of the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center, the Golden Agers and the St. Paul’s Lunch Bunch.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlotte A. Moser and husband, Paul of Zionsville and three grandsons, Joshua, Andrew and Nathan Moser. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a sister, June Mest.
A Funeral Service was held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St. East Greenville, PA with Rev. Charles E Romanowski officiating. Interment followed in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA. Family and friends called from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Please visit www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com to share memories and offer online condolences.
