GRACE V. (ANDREWS) HECKLER 2012-08-16
Grace V. (Andrews) Heckler, 83, of Pennsburg, passed away and went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born June 3, 1929, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Montgomery) Andrews.
Grace taught first grade at Knapp Elementary School in North Penn School District for 33 years. She will be greatly missed by her students and all her family.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Brooke Maureen Heckler of Pennsburg; son, Ike Heckler, Jr. of Malabar, Florida; her grandson, Steven I. Nagy of Pennsburg; and dear family friends, the Frock family.
A memorial service celebrating Grace’s life will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. Relatives and friends may call after 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Grace’s memory to Popcorn Park Zoo, Attn: Ranee, P.O. Box 43, Forked River, NJ 08731, or Knapp Elementary School, Attn: Principal Mazza, 698 Knapp Rd., Lansdale, PA 19446.
