Mary Louise Weaver

Mary Louise Weaver, 81, beloved mother and grandmother, died July 10, 2012 in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Merritt W. and Lucile Rose King Kistler.

She was a 1948 graduate of Allentown High School and a 1952 graduate of Cedar Crest College, Allentown. Mary taught home economics and science in the Schwenksville and Perkiomen Valley School Districts from 1963 until 1980. She was a member of Heidelberg UCC, Schwenksville, a past Royal Matron of Amaranth, Allentown Court and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Perkiomen Chapter. Mary was also a devoted volunteer at Phoebe while residing there.

She is survived by her son Mark J. Weaver, and his wife Linda J., of Zionsville; a daughter Martha J. Weaver, of San Diego, California and grandchildren Heather, Holly, Keith and Erick.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton Street, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, 30 S. 17th St., Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or to Heidelberg UCC Church, 251 Perkiomen Ave., Schwenksville, PA 19473.
