Kenneth R. Greiser
2012-07-19

        Kenneth R. Greiser, 85, of Green Lane, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 in Pennsburg Manor. He and his wife Eleanor (Erb) Greiser celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in February.

        Born in Hatfield, he was the son of the late Charles and Ellen Mae (Kramer) Greiser.
        He was a U.S. Army veteran, where he served in Italy during WWII. He was employed at the U.S. Gauge in Sellersville for over 30 years prior to his retirement.
        Mr. Greiser was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown as well as a lifetime member of the Telford VFW Post #5308.
        In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Bob Greiser and his wife Phyllis of Souderton, Jeff Greiser and his wife Margie of Red Hill, a daughter-in-law, Mary Greiser of Pottstown, seven grandchildren: Michelle O’Rourke, K. James, Matthew, Kevin, Brenden, Nate and Chris Greiser, nine great-grandchildren: James, Joseph, Kyle, Skylar, Joslyn, Morgan, Joshua Thomas Curley, Emily and Benjamin O’Rourke; and a brother, Bernie Greiser and his wife Jean of Harleysville. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven J. Greiser, a grandson, Keith Greiser, a great-grandson, Aiden O’Rourke, one brother and three sisters.
        Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd, Suite 150, Blue Bell, Pa 19422.
