Lucille Ann (Sitko) Fedyk

        Lucille Ann (Sitko) Fedyk, age 71, of Lower Pottsgrove Township, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Richard T. Fedyk, with whom she would have celebrated 48 years of marriage on July 25, 2012.

        Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Sophia (Koza) Sitko.
        Lucille was a 1959 graduate of Pottstown High School. For 10 years, she worked as customer service manager for Hess’ Department Store, Pottstown and another 10 years as human resource manager for Nordstrom’s.
        She had a passion for traveling to Europe with her husband and friends, gardening, crafts, quilting, jewelry making and Polish Folk Dancing, which she taught and enjoyed at the P.K.M. – Polish Folk Dancing Group. In addition, Lucille dedicated countless hours volunteering at her children’s grade school and high school as well as her parish, and various other organizations.
        Surviving in addition to her husband are: one daughter – Stephanie, wife of David Rocereta, of Barto;
one son, Nicholas Fedyk and his wife Patricia, of Downingtown; Six grandchildren: Samuel, Julia and Sophia Rocereta and Zachary, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Fedyk and two sisters Nora, wife of Dennis Piontek, of Coventry, and Florence, wife of John Chomyn, of Pottstown.
        A viewing will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA. Lucille’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta – Linfield Church, 1228 Main Street, Linfield, PA (For more specific directions, please refer to the church website Rev. Paul C. Brandt and Deacon David Kubczak will officiate. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Pottstown, PA.
        In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Building Fund, P.O. Box 229, Limerick, PA 19468.
