Donald J. Hoy
2012-06-21
        Donald J. Hoy, age 82, passed away on June 15, 2012 in Pennsburg.
        Don worked for PECO Energy Company for 30 years before retiring in 1990. He was an avid car enthusiast and belonged to the Antique Automobile Club of America, Valley Forge and Pottstown Regions. He loved his antique cars and attended many local shows and won numerous prizes with his 1929 Model A Ford. Don, along with his wife, played in a Boom-bah band for many years.
        Don is survived by his wife, Barbara (Jarosz), and his four children: Thomas Hoy, in New Jersey, Susan Evanik, in Florida, Denise Boyce, in California, and Robin Hoy, in New York. Don has seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
        Memorial services will be held at Saint Phillip Neri Church in Pennsburg, Route 663, on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10 a.m.
