Exhibition Provides a Look at Logging Practices

 John B. Haines holds 7th annual event in Marlbrough

 

The event also featured displays ranging from toy trains to vintage construction equipment. Above, John Miller oils a working steam locomotive.

 Children get an upclose and personal look at a pair of Durham Oxen brought in from Centre County to demonstrate the use of the animals in logging in the days of past.

Abraham Allebach leads his team of Duraham Oxen as John Haines IV reaches out to pet the animals. Haines is the sponsor of the event held at his Marlborough township home.

Ben Gouldy guides a boring jig during a demonstraion of fence post making by the Goschenhoppen Historians.
