Security Services Company Seeking Veterans and Reservists to Fill Jobs
Written by Derek Nestler, Correspondent
2012-01-19

Conshohocken-based security company, AlliedBarton Security Services , is leading the charge by actively recruiting veterans and reservists for employment. Positions are available in every area of their services, from security guards to management.
AlliedBarton’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales Services, Alan Stein finds that there is a lot of value in hiring veterans and reservists. “Their military experiences give them strong leadership qualities, experience working in a team environment, strong supervisory skills, and discipline,” said Stein.
The active recruitment of veterans and reservists at AlliedBarton involves partnerships with several military assistance programs including the Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Wounded Warrior Project and the American GI Forum. These partnerships help forge avenues and connections to contact returning veterans and reservists.
AlliedBarton is recognized as one of the top corporations in the areas of security personnel and hiring veterans. They were ranked third in the top 20 list of Military Spouse Friendly Employers, offering jobs that range from entry level security professionals to executive positions.
In addition to being one of the top companies leading the way in hiring veterans and reservists, AlliedBarton also encourages and gets behind other corporations with supporting this type of initiative. “The security services industry is an ideal field for transitioning veterans and reservists, and their spouses,” said Stein, but AlliedBarton supports anyone going forward with their initiative to hire veterans and reservists.
“We hold studies, speaking engagements, and online interviews in order to promote the hiring of veterans and reservists,” said Stein, “I encourage anyone seeking employment to visit our website and click the careers tab.” Information regarding AlliedBarton’s partnerships or available employment opportunities can be found on their website www.AlliedBarton.com.
The Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces (EPAF) provides connections between returning veterans and reservists and possible employers. Free of charge for employers and service members, information and job opportunities can be found at www.EmployerPartnership.com.
