Paul C. Oschwald
Paul C. Oschwald, 78, of Pennsburg died Saturday, Dec. 17 at home with his family. He was the husband of Nida S. (Sinclair) Oschwald, celebrating 30 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Clinton J. and Ruth E. (Roeger) Oschwald.
Paul was an honorary graduate of Upper Darby High School then graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy in 1951 and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 1955.
He was a Retired Lt. Colonel of the US Air Force and was a B-47 pilot with four years of active duty. He spent 24 years in the reserves.
Surviving along with his wife are three children: Carol L. Fisher and husband, Philip, of Doylestown; Lynda S. Pitcherella and husband, Thomas, of Romansville; David P. Oschwald, of Collegeville; and two step-daughters, Jennifer Odenwald and husband, James, of Telford; and Kimberly B. Coulson and husband, Shaun, of Pittsburgh; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, with the Rev. Nick Pence officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Church Fellowship Hall.
