Herbert Henry Brensinger, 68, of Hereford, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 25, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Kriebel) Brensinger since 1970.
Born in Huffs Church, he was the son of the late Earl and Lizzie Etta (Overholtzer) Brensinger.
He was a 1961 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High. He was also a graduate of the Brunswick Automatic Pinsetter School and worked part time as the pinsetter and mechanic at the Palm Legion for 33 years until 1984. Early in life, he worked at the Boise Cascade Can Company in East Greenville for several years before serving his country honorably in the US Army in the Military Police. Following his military service, he graduated from Ryder Tractor Trailer Driving School and briefly drove for Matlack, hauling bulk cement. He then worked at Merck & Co. in West Point in various production areas for 32 years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of Zionsville U.C.C. and American Legion Post 184 in Palm.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Cheryl, of Macungie and Amanda, and her fiancé Leon, of Chester Springs; sisters: Marie Bower, of Barto, and Shirley, wife of Bruce Cressman, of Pennsburg and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Rd., Alburtis. Call on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Huff’s Union Cemetery.
