Happy Holidays Shopping Gets Under Way at Quakertown Farmers Market

        Quakertown Farmers Market launches another Season full of Holiday Promotions and Shopping Incentives beginning Wednesday, November 23rd. The Market is open Wednesday from 9am until 6pm for Thanksgiving Holiday Shopping.

        This year’s Farmers Market Shopping Incentive encourages shoppers to patronize the small businesses located in the Quakertown Farmers Market on Small Business Saturday, November 26th. Shoppers need only to present their Quakertown Farmers Market shopping receipts dated November 26th 2011 to the Market Office located at Exit #4 to receive a free gift.
        The Merchants are decorated and stocked full of goodies from stockings stuffers, fresh baked goods, unique gifts for everyone as well as our famous farm fresh produce and fresh butcher cut meats. We have something for everyone on your Christmas list including Quakertown Farmers Market Gift Certificates.
        Jolly Old Saint Nick arrives on Saturday, November 26th at 10am. This year he will be located in Dept #327. Color 4”x6” photos with “Himself the Elf” remain a low $3.49 each; buy 2-Get 1 Free! As a special enticement for shoppers and children alike, the first (100) shoppers to greet Santa as he arrives on Saturday, November 26th will receive a coupon for a free photo with Santa as well as a candy cane. Santa will be at the Quakertown Farmers Market every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 23rd, including Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Christmas week.
        Shoppers and their pets alike are invited to join us for Santa Paws Day which will be held on Sunday, December 4th. Pet owners are asked to bring their pets into Exit #20 and go directly to Dept #327 for photo taking. Color pet photos on Santa Paws Day will be $4.49 each; but 2-Get 1 Free! Pet owners are asked to exit the building immediately following their photo session.
        As a special treat for boys and girls this year, Children are invited to join Santa for a Christmas story and some cookies on December 10th at 11am for a holiday memory they will always cherish. This year’s extended holiday hours include Wednesday, Dec. 21st from 9am until 9pm, Thursday, Dec 22nd, 9am until 9pm, Friday, December 23rd, 9am until 9pm and Saturday, Christmas Eve, 9am-5pm. The Market will also be open on New Year’s Eve from 9am until 5pm and for the second year in a row. Quakertown Farmers Market will be open on New Year’s Day from 10am until 3pm. The Market will be closed on Christmas Day.
                As a reminder, Silver Saver Shopping Hours on Fridays remain 9am until 9pm. Shoppers 62 and older may bring their Friday Farmers Market receipts totaling $20 or more (up to $300.00) to the Market Office located at Exit#4 and receive a $1 Market Buck for every $20 in receipts. Market Bucks may be spent anywhere in the Market and never expire. Quakertown Farmers Market wishes everyone a joyous holiday season and a happy new year.
