Rose E. Beard, 91, widow of William H. Beard, formerly of the Upper Perkiomen Valley, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Golden Living of Lansdale.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia (Poppel) Paulson.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sandra, wife of Roger Frederick, of Duncan, South Carolina, Donna Hoch, of Quakertown and Gayla, wife of James Boyer, of Sellersville and her 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her son, John H. Beard and six brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Troy Gahman, Adult and Missions Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Lansdale officiating. Interment follows in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.
