Ernest C. H. Prinz
Ernest C. H. Prinz, 88, of Marlborough Township, died October 19, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. (Meier) Prinz.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Ernest R. and Louisa (Scheerbaum) Prinz.
Ernest served his country honorably during WWII in the Army Air Corps. After serving his country, he was a tool sharpener for the former Porter Instruments, Souderton. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown, a past Master of Perkiomen Lodge #595 F&AM and was a 32-degree Mason in the Valley of Allentown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and summer vacations with his family.
Surviving, with his wife, is his son, Ernest R. Prinz, of Marlborough Township; his grandchildren: Robert D. Prinz, Jr., Ernest J. Prinz, Richard E. Prinz and Susan E. Bradley; great-grandchildren: Nicole Prinz, Brianna Yerger, Ernest Prinz, Emmaline Prinz and Wyatt Prinz. He was predeceased by a son, Robert D. Prinz.
A celebration of his life was held on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 163 Main St, Pennsburg beginning with a Masonic Service at 1:45 p.m. Family and friends called from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
