The annual Bankers Bash Baseball charity softball tournament was held at Druckenmiller Fields in Sellersville on Saturday, October 1. On this day bankers left their dress shirts and ties at home and donned their bank’s team uniforms and baseball shoes. The following financial institutions participated: First Savings of Perkasie, First Niagara Bank, QNB Bank, Univest Bank, Harleysville Savings Bank and Merck Sharpe & Dohme Federal Credit Union. This year’s tournament was won by Harleysville Savings Bank.

The purpose of the tournament is to raise funds for a non-profit organization in the community and also for two(2) individuals that have financial issues as a result of health reasons. The following recipients each received $3,000: Keystone Opportunity Center, Mark Supplee and Jacob Leavens.
