Marian L. Mohr

Marian L. Mohr, 95, previously of Milford Square, died Oct. 11 in Alter Care, Wadsworth, OH. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Mohr.

Born in Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Menno S. and Lottie (Landis) Rosenberger.

She was a bookkeeper for the former Clover Leaf Mill and also store manager at the Mill Store, Milford Square for over 40 years before retiring in 1991.

Marian was a member of West Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown. She was also active with the Milford Township Fire Company Auxiliary, Past President of the Eastern District Conference, Women’s Missions, and the Women’s Committee for Home for the Aged. She was in charge of the Fresh Air Funds for over 10 years, and member of the former Milford Square Players, who traveled doing plays in Pennsylvania German.

Surviving are a son, James R. and wife Roberta, of Wadsworth, Ohio; grandchildren: David, Janette, Joseph and Suzanne; great-grandchildren: Samantha, Kelly, Matthew, Hannah, Julie, Ryan, James, Megan, Arthur, Daniel, Katie. She was predeceased by great-grandson, Eric.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, in West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Road, Quakertown. Calling was from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, at the church.

Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, was in charge of arrangements.
