Democrats, GOP to Hold School Board Candidates Forum

Voters will have an opportunity to listen to the candidates running for school director in the Upper Perkiomen School District at a forum sponsored jointly by the Upper Montgomery County Republican Club and the Upper Perkiomen Democratic Club at the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Each of the candidates will speak for five minutes, and then the public will have a chance to submit written questions for the candidates. All of the candidates will have a chance to answer the questions, and members of the public may submit questions in advance or at the forum. People can send their questions in advance to http://www.google.com/moderator/ or by mail to Roderick Wood, 1290 James Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073.

The moderators will select the most popular questions from the questions submitted.

Most of the candidates have said they will attend the forum, and those who have said they will not be able to attend will be submitting written statements for the moderators of the forum to read.

Seven candidates are running for five seats on the school board.
