Sherry J. Keyser
Sherry J. Keyser, 52, passed away on August 8, 2011 in Tidewell Hospice, Sarasota, Florida, following a brief illness.
Sherry was a daughter of the late Carroll and E. Jean (Mensch) Keyser of Pennsburg.
Sherry grew up in Pennsburg, and was a 1976 graduate of the Upper Perkiomen High School.
Upon graduation, Sherry married and raised her family in Pottstown. She later moved to the Hershey area, until the family business took her to Florida. After a brief return to the Pennsburg area, Sherry returned to Florida in 1997.
Sherry is survived by her companion of many years, Michael Adcock. Five children: Nikki Essick, of Boyertown, Shannon Essick, of Eugene, Oregon, Tanna Essick, of Philadelphia, Derrick Miller, U.S. Navy, stationed in Colorado, and Victoria Miller, of Tampa, Florida. Sherry has two grandchildren, River Essick, of Oley, and Kurt Willman, of Pottstown. She is also survived by a sister, Beverly, wife of Robert Schlosberg, of Bechtelsville; two brothers, Mark Keyser, husband of Linda, of Souderton and Steven Keyser, of Green Lane; three nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
