Max Abrams 2011-09-15 Max Abrams, 92, of Hereford, died September 9, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary (Freimuth) Abrams. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Isaac and Mollie (Siegel) Abrams.
Max served his country honorably in the Army during WWII. He was a heating repair and oil deliveryman for the Olney Oil Co., in Philadelphia for 27 years, retiring in 1980. Max was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Max was also a devoted Phillies fan.
Survivors include sons, James L. Abrams, of Jim Thorpe, and Gene Howard, of Philadelphia; daughters, Natalie Bonett, of Palm, and Virginia Loos, of Wayne; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday 11:00 a.m., at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. A viewing was held at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment was private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
