Cory Michael McAndrews, 38, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2026. He was born on May 24, 1988, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Cory graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 2006 and went on to attend Lycoming College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He played football in both high school and college.
After a career in the corporate environment, Cory followed his entrepreneurial spirit and started his own company, Claddagh Drafting & Design. Through his business, he worked under contract with Thomasville Restoration in Maryland. Cory also had a lifelong love of computers and technology. Cory cared deeply for his family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He had a big heart and was liked by all who knew him.
He was a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews and loved his aunts, uncles, and cousins dearly. Cory loved dogs, especially his beloved Brew and Molly, whom he considered his "fur children." He enjoyed paintball tournaments, smoking meats, fishing, golfing, and cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.
Cory is survived by his father and stepmother, William and Martina McAndrews; his siblings, Nicole, Colleen, and William McAndrews Jr.; his stepsister, Shannon Beckier; his stepbrother, Kevin Beckier; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maryann McAndrews (nee Collins). No services are planned currently. A private burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
