Ray W. Fillman
2026-07-22

Ray Fillman, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026.

Ray was the beloved husband of the late Dolores Fillman, with whom he shared over 60 wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2021. Together,

they built a life centered on devotion, family, and shared memories.

A man of quiet pride and dedication, Ray took immense care in everything he did-especially maintaining his home and keeping his car in pristine condition. He found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, most notably family gatherings and trips to the North Carolina beaches, where he loved spending quiet hours surf fishing.

Ray is survived by his devoted daughter, Mechele, and her husband, Frank; his brother, Ralph; his sister-in-law, Ruth; and a large, loving network of extended family, nieces, and nephews who will deeply miss his steady presence and warmth.  He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Dolores, and his brother, Dale.

Friends and family are   invited to a visitation at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 on Friday evening, July 24, 2026 from 6-7 p.m. with a celebration of life service beginning at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.

Online condolences may be offered at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
