Duck Derby Returns to Legion Post

Post 184 Sons of the American Legion host annual fundraiser event on the Perkiomen Creek.

Frank DeCaro, Jacob Wink and Sean Davis collect the winning ducks at the finish line in the Perkiomen Creek. Bob Wink dumps 100 plastic ducks into the Perkiomen Creek prior to the start of the children's race.
Children take advantage of the low water level to cool of in the creek. Duck Derby entrants watch from a bridge as the ducks float down the Perkiomen Creek in one of several races. The Sons of the American Legion Squadron #184 at American Legion Post 184, located in the Palm section of Upper Hanover, sponsored the event Saturday, June 13 at the post's headquarters.
