Together, both organizations share a commitment "to building a more responsive and interconnected support system that not only addresses immediate needs but also helps individuals and families achieve long-term stability," said Robert Varga, Executive Director of Boyertown Area Multi-Service.
The Community Impact Grant program provides grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations championed by New York Life agents and employees. Since the program began in 2008, more than 850 grants totaling over $12 million have been awarded to nonprofits nationwide. Since 2020, Rob has helped secure $27,500 in Community Impact Grant funding from New York Life for Preston's Pantry, in addition to $10,000 in direct donations made to other Boyertown-area nonprofits since 2014 through New York Life's Volunteers For Good awards.
Frank Buttaro, Director of Development and Marketing of Boyertown Area Multi-Service, stated, "We are grateful for New York Life's investment in Preston's Pantry, which will make a meaningful difference in many lives. Without the support of New York Life, we would not be able to continue serving this community and helping meet the health and financial needs of its residents."
"I'm proud to work for a company that encourages its agents and employees to dedicate their time, energy, and talents to support the priorities of their local communities," said Rob Theisen, Financial Adviser with New York Life's Constitution General Office. "We are honored that this partnership will create a lasting impact on Preston's Pantry and the families they serve."
