Phyllis A. Manion, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend to many, peacefully passed away on May 2, 2026, at Chestnut Knoll. Born in Pennsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Dulin) Leister. Phyllis was the devoted wife of George T. Manion for 53 wonderful years until his passing in 2016.

            A 1960 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, Phyllis dedicated her life to her family. She found joy in raising her five children and was known for her warmth and nurturing spirit. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did; she loved hosting family gatherings, especially during the holidays, filling her home with laughter and delicious meals. Her passion for baking was evident as she created and decorated beautiful cakes for family and friends for special occasions. 

            Beyond her family life, Phyllis's artistic talents flourished in her hobbies. She loved painting and engaging in various arts and crafts, and her sewing skills allowed her to create clothing for her children. In recent years, she found joy in life's simple pleasures; especially car rides with her family. 

            Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love that will be deeply missed by her five children: Kris Manion, Susan "Sue" Fies (Randy), Lisa Todd (Michael), Jay Manion, and Thomas Manion (Hope); grandchildren: Holly, Alexis, Courtney, Tyler, George, Logan, Jane and Saoirse; great-granddaughter: Laynie; siblings: Roy, Donny (Pauline), Merrill (Brenda), and Larry; dozens of nieces and nephews; and her husband's foster brother, Clare Reihman (Sharon). She is pre-deceased by siblings: Bob, Billy, Charlie, and Nancy.
