Two swings by Jake Creneti highlighted Upper Perkiomen's offensive outburst on Tuesday. The senior catcher delivered a pair of two-run doubles to lead the team to a 21-0 victory over Pottstown in the Pioneer Athletic Conference at Bonekemper Field.
Topher Burns and Jonathan Lewis combined to toss three shutout innings while allowing one hit for the Indians (7-1 overall, 4-1 PAC) in a game stopped after three innings due to the 15-run rule.

Ryan Cairns finished with two doubles, scored twice and drove in two runs off the bench for the Tribe, which finished with 10 hits and took advantage of five Trojan errors to secure its second straight win since a 2-1 loss to Upper Merion on March 30. Logan Fijalkowski and Grayson Sabo each drove in two runs and scored twice.
Stephen Mumford scored two runs and drove in two off the bench for the Tribe, which is tied with Upper Merion atop the Frontier Division standings and currently holds the No. 2 spot in the District One Class 5A rankings behind Chichester. Zane Saeger stole two bases and scored twice.
The Indians scored 10 runs in the bottom of the first on just two hits. They sent 16 hitters to the plate.
Their initial six batters reached base on four walks and two hit batsmen. Creneti's two-run double to left field put them ahead 5-0. Sabo followed with an extra-base hit to drive in one.
The Tribe delivered 11 more runs in the second inning on seven hits. The team sent 15 hitters to the plate.
Cairns delivered two RBI-doubles during the rally. Fijalkowski and Cairns added a two-run double. Burns registered a two-run single.
The Indians needed extra innings to defeat Pope John Paul II last week. They scored an unearned run in the ninth inning to post a 5-4 victory, their first on the road in the series since 2021.
Brody Weiss drove in the winning run on a one-out single to left field off reliever Carson Glose on Wednesday, April 1, to hand Pope John Paul II its first loss of the season. The hit scored Saeger, who reached base leading off the inning on the Panthers' fourth error. Benjamin Godshall bunted him to second base.
Fijalkowski tossed two shutout innings in relief to earn the mound victory. He allowed only one walk while striking out two.
Saeger delivered two hits and scored two runs for the Tribe (6-1 overall, 2-1 PAC), who won for the sixth time in seven games and received seven walks. Godshall posted two hits and drove in two runs.
Jack Rieg drove in two runs for the Indians, who rallied from an early two-run deficit to go ahead 4-2 after a three-run rally in the sixth inning. Jordin Dice registered a hit, scored a run and stole two of the team's six bases.
However, Pope John Paul scored two runs (one earned) off Rieg, the Tribe's second pitcher, during the seventh inning, to force a 4-4 tie. He worked four innings, permitting two runs and four walks while striking out six.
Upper Perk scored one run in the third inning on two hits to get within 2-1. Saeger scored on an error.
The Tribe was scheduled to take on Boyertown at Bear Stadium on Wednesday. The team will host Owen J. Roberts on Friday.
