Upper Perkiomen's baseball team had its five-game winning streak snapped Tuesday. It managed just two hits during a 2-1 loss to Upper Merion in the Pioneer Athletic Conference.

Cole Wellington and Tristan Fanning pitched the host Vikings to a Frontier Division victory. Wellington went six innings for the victory, allowing only a home run by Zane Saeger leading off the fourth inning that forced a 1-1 tie. Fanning struck out the side in the seventh inning to notch a save.
Benjamin Godshall absorbed the mound loss after allowing two runs on three hits and four walks in 4 1/3 innings for the Indians (5-1 overall, 2-1 PAC), who absorbed their first loss of the season. Hal Eaton's single up the middle in the fifth inning snapped a 1-1 tie,
Godshall and Logan Fijalkowski pitched the Tribe to a victory in its conference opener last week. They combined to allow just two baserunners and struck out nine in a 7-0 win over Norristown.
Godshall, Upper Perk's starter, permitted one hit and struck out six over five innings. Fijalkowski fanned three during the final two frames. They each surrendered only one hit on Wednesday, March 25, at Bonekemper Field.
Saeger delivered two hits, scored one run and drove in another for the Indians who made the most of seven hits and the six walks. They took control with single runs in the initial three innings.
Cole Graf delivered an RBI hit during the team's four-run rally during the fifth inning. He scored on a ground ball.
Grayson Sabo finished with three of Upper Perkiomen's 10 stolen bases. Nate Schramm scored two runs.
The following day, the Indians needed only three innings to defeat Pottsgrove. Sabo tossed three no-hit frames in a 15-0 victory.
Saeger paced an 11-hit barrage with two hits, two runs scored and three RBIs. Fijalkowski and Jack Rieg each added two hits, scored twice and drove in two on a two-run single during the second inning.
Nate Schramm drove in a team-high three runs. Topher Burns drove in two runs.
