Upper Perk Middle School to Present Musical Friday and Saturday Night

Seussical Jr. is a mash-up of four Seuss stories and their characters. The show, produced by

Upper Perkiomen Middle School students, features 58 students on stage and another 43

behind the scenes.

The residents of Whoville shout as Horton is on trial for beliving in the residents only he can hear. Horton the elephant, played by Jake Tankelewicz, hears a Who while flanked by Thing 2, Vivian Trimble and Thing 1, Ary Rock. The musical will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday Feb. 27 and Saturday Feb. 28.
Gertrude McFuzz, portrayed by Olivia Mizerny, performs a solo. Dannie Serico and Adanna Uche-Okeke touch up their makeup. The musical opens with Aiden Hathaway as JoJo, the imagain- ative child from Whoville, meeting Eli Flud as the Cat in Hat.
