Brianna Godshall delivered Upper Perkiomen's top performance at the Strath Haven Panther Brawl last weekend. The ninth grader helped the girls wrestling team finish second overall out of 25 teams by earning a silver medal in the tournament at 112 pounds on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Strath Haven High School.

Keyra Seville (100), Abigail Landis (106) and Adria Page (155) finished third for the Indians who ended up behind Parkland. Alyssa Crist (142) and Leila Lopez (235) each reached the medal stand, finishing fifth.
Godshall (22-9) won her first two bouts by fall. She opened by defeating Guadalupe Zamores, a senior from Kennett, early in the second period before pinning Payton Ocasio, a returning District 11 medal winner from Parkland in the semifinal.
The gold medal match went the distance. Mya Pallone (26-10), a ninth grader from Quakertown, registered a 12-3 major decision win.
Seville (21-9) won four of her five bouts, including two by pin. She secured the bronze medal with a 5-1 victory over Taya Wuchter, a returning regional qualifier from Kennett.
Seville, a senior, recovered from a third-period loss to Southern Lehigh's Cambria Leshko. A 3-1 victory over Azra Biyik, a junior from Harry S. Truman, sparked a stretch of three straight wins.
Landis (16-5) recovered from a second-period loss to a returning regional medal winner. After getting beat by Claire Carrington, a senior from Plymouth-Whitemarsh, the ninth grader responded with consecutive pins.
A first-period win over Exeter's Jaylianna Rosa propelled Landis into the third-place match. She clinched the bronze with a third-period fall over Juliana Maldonado, a ninth grader from North Penn.
Page (19-9) notched pins in three of her four bouts. Two of her wins came against returning District One qualifiers.
In her final match, the junior defeated Raegan Crawford, a junior from Bensalem, 10 seconds into the second period. Page opened with a first-period fall over Kennet senior Eileen Mondragon with one second remaining in the first period.
Becker (22-10) increased her victories by pin to 16 with three more. The freshman secured her bronze medal with a third-period fall over Savannah Bledsoe, a sophomore from Garnet Valley. She needed only 46 seconds to beat Kimberly Rodriguez, a returning district medalist from Kennett in the consolation semifinals.
Last week, the Tribe dominated Boyertown in a Pioneer Athletic Conference match. It lost only one match in a 66-6 victory on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
The team won four of the five competitive matches, all by pin, during the first period. Abigail Landis (16-5) registered the quickest fall. The freshman needed only 45 seconds to defeat Alexis Stump at 106 pounds.
At 100, Seville decked Jenise Roa in 73 seconds. Godshall needed 100 seconds to beat Adalaide Sheridan, a Boyertown senior. Alexandra Cannon, a senior, utilized a half nelson to pin Callie Pisaturo with 13 seconds remaining in the period for the Indians (5-1 overall, 4-0 PAC).
Paige Stankina (24-8) delivered the only victory for Boyertown (1-3 overall, 1-3 PAC). At 124 pounds, the ninth grader delivered her 20th pin of the season in a first-period victory over Liberty McClaskey.
