September – The East Greenville Fire Company celebrates its 125th anniversary with a ceremony at the firehouse. September – Green Lane officials, Montgomery County representatives, state legislators, environmentalists and private citizens who donated money to a trail project in the borough cut the ribbon Sept. 19 on the project.
July – Upper Salford holds its annual Red, White and Blue Parade on July 4th. August – Police officers, fire fighters and public officials stand at attention during the national anthem at the annual National Night Out event on Aug. 9 in Sumneytown.
January – Red Hill VFW Post 5954 dedicates its newly created Veterans Outreach Center on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 407 Main Street on a property purchased by the organization.
