Later in life, she enjoyed gardening, playing her Lowrey organ, sewing, reading and going to the library, crossword puzzles, and her furry little rescue lap-dog, Ashley.

Second youngest of six children, Dorothy was predeceased by all her brothers and sisters: Edwin Wolfer, Helen Tretter, Frieda Ezar, Ella Wolfer, and Harold Wolfer.

She is survived by her son, Glenn Myron Hershey of Pennsburg, PA; daughter, Doreen Marie Hershey of Breinigsville, PA; grandsons, Benjamin Hershey Snyder of Park City, UT and Christian David Snyder of El Paso, TX. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2025 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. There will be a private interment at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hill, PA.
