Margaret Ann LaRue Friday
2025-12-31

Margaret Ann LaRue Friday, 91, of Souderton, passed away peacefully

on Friday, December 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Friday and the late Stanley Hendricks.

Born in Kulpsville, Margaret was the daughter of the late Norman and Edith Reiff. She was affectionately known as "LaRue" by family and friends.

She began her working years at Philco Ford in Lansdale, where she assembled car radios. With the support of Charles Rhein, she attended Temple University and went on to work full-time at the Charles Rhein Accounting Office.

LaRue had a deep love for her flower gardens and enjoyed crafting, reading, and caring for her cats.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Arden Brooke Hendricks; four grandchildren, Jason Michael Ian Hendricks (Christine), Layla Hendricks, Ryan Hendricks, and August Jacob Hendricks; two great-grandchildren, Aniyah Grace Hendricks and Killian Scott Hendricks; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stanley Scott Hendricks; her brother, William Norman Reiff; and her daughter-in-law, Jackie Hendricks.

A combined funeral service will be held for both Stanley and LaRue at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 2, at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964. A viewing will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Morning Star Ministries, 526 E. Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964.
