Barbara L. Robinson
2025-10-28

Barbara L. Robinson, formerly of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully

on October 25, 2025 at the Greenfield Senior in Schwenksville where she had been residing the past five months.

Born in Phoenixville, PA, Barbara was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Pufko) Lowrie.

She was the cherished wife of William "Clark" Robinson, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage until his passing in 2021.

Barbara's life was a testament to her deep faith and unwavering commitment to her family and community. She was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Church, where she served as a church secretary from 1982 to 1989. Her dedication extended beyond her administrative role; she played a pivotal part in founding the Cub Scouts at St. Philip Neri in 1961, proudly serving as den mother for all three of her sons along with a leader of her daughter's Girl Scout troop.

Barbara also contributed her talents to the St. Philip Neri School, where she was a substitute teacher and instrumental in setting up the school library, leaving a lasting impact on the education of countless children. Prior to her employment with St. Philip Neri, Barbara was employed at the Great American Knitting Mill.  The role that gave her the most joy, was raising her family.

An avid reader and lover of travel, Barbara cherished her trips to the shore, especially to New Jersey and Delaware. She also loved to knit and sew.  Most importantly, Barbara was devoted to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

She is survived by her children, Bill Robinson, Jr. and wife, Cindy, Karen Snyder, Jim Robinson and wife, Sue, and Tom Robinson and wife Yvonne, nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She is predeceased by an infant daughter, Mary Robinson; a grandson, Jonathan Robinson; brother, James Lowrie; and a son in law, Charles Snyder.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025 at St. Philip Neri Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073 with a burial in Holy Cross following. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.

You may share memories and condolences at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philp Neri Church.
