Cheryl L. Hill
2025-08-13

            Cheryl Lee Hill, 77, of Pennsburg, PA passed away on August 11, 2025.

            Cheryl "Cherrie" was born on April 25, 1948 in Berwick, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Eckroth) Gordon.

            She graduated from Berwick High School in 1966. She went on to pursue a wide and varied professional careers first working for the First Federal S&L in Bloomsburg, PA. After her marriage, she worked for several years with the Penn State Agricultural Extension in Norristown, PA. Cheryl also held positions with Gordon Baver Construction Company and the Atomic International Construction Company, while there lastly serving as office manager. Finally, she was the owner and operator of her women's clothing store, Just for You in East Greenville, PA selling a line of upscale business casual clothing to local clients.

            She was a loving wife to her husband Gerald Hill and Cherrie gave strength and support to her family. Together, they raised their son, Stephen. She was always there to give support to his many youthful activities.

            She was a member of the local B.P.W. Association and enjoyed volunteering for the Upper Perkiomen Middle School and Upper Perk Little League Baseball Association. She was also a member of the local Red Hat Assoc.

            She enjoyed making crafts and attending craft shows, cake decorating, NASCAR and in her earlier years making her own clothing (a skill she learned from her mother).

In addition to her husband Gerald and son Stephen and his wife Sara, she is survived by various brothers and sisters-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews throughout the east coast and mid-west.

            A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 9:30-11 a.m.at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery.
