Eileen M. Haring
2025-08-07

Eileen M. Haring, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed

away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 81.

Born in Niantic, PA, to the late Arthur and Loretta (Bernhard) Weller, Eileen dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and her community.

Eileen graduated from Boyertown High School in 1961 and, shortly thereafter, married the love of her life, Arland "Beef" J. Haring, in 1963. They shared a beautiful marriage that lasted for 48 wonderful years until his passing in 2011.

The majority of Eileen's professional life was devoted to education, as she worked in the Boyertown School District for 31 years. She held several roles within the district, but retired as a Title 1 paraprofessional where her dedication to her students was evident to all who knew her.  Additionally, Eileen was a faithful and devoted member of Calvary U.C.C. in Barto, PA, where she served as the church organist for an astounding 50 years. Her contributions to the church and its community were immeasurable, reflecting her caring spirit and love for others.

Eileen's spirit shone brightly in her social life, where she cherished the time spent socializing with friends and family. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together and create joy in the simplest moments, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Eileen is survived by her two beloved sons, Andrew Haring and wife, Deborah and Nathan Haring and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Riley, Ashley, Sam and Drew; as well as her sister, Mona Maser. She is also predeceased by her brother, Bob Weller.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 PA-100, Barto, PA 19504. A visitation with the family will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home (www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, PO Box 1045, Kimberton, PA 19442.
