Robert L. Frank
2025-06-30

            Robert L. Frank, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25,

2025 at the age of 93. Born, in Hosensack, PA to the late Amandus and Glenna (Gehris) Frank, he was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends.

            A graduate of East Greenville High School in 1951, Robert served his country honorably in the United States Navy. After his service, Robert began a career at Red Hill Grinding Mill before embarking on a long and fulfilling career at Merck, where he worked in various departments until his retirement in 1994.

            For 63 wonderful years, Robert was married to his cherished wife, Edith V. (Kolb) Frank, who passed away in 2018. Together, they shared a life filled with love and countless memories.

            He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Frank and wife, Sharon; granddaughter Laura Myers and husband, Kacey; and great-granddaughter, Mallory Myers. Robert also leaves behind his beloved siblings, Donald Frank, Roger Frank, Emily Brown, and Cynthia Cox, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by siblings, Michael Frank Shirley Long.

            Robert was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC, East Greenville, and former member of the Mumbauersville Gun Club and the Green Lane Fire Company. His passions included hunting and fishing, as well as golfing at Macoby and Hickory Valley golf courses. He loved to bowl in the East Greenville League and found great joy in gardening and maintaining his yard.

            The family will hold a viewing on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

            Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville. You may leave online condolences and share memories by visiting www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to New Goshenhoppen UCC at the above address.
