Make Music Upper Perk celebrates the first day of summer

with 13th annual day of concerts.

 

The Valley Choral Society, under the direction of Assistant Director Mary Beth Penjuke, performs an evening concert at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

David Hopkins plays the flute on the sidewalk at Java & Friends.
Paisley Louis, from Pennsburg, plays the piano at the Schwenkfelder Library and Heritage Center.  Louis is a student at Corner Music. The alternative rock band Fauxtron, with Andy Rasmussen on bass, Brian Wales playing the drums, and Pat Stiefel on guitar, perform at Bike & Sol.
Chloe Boykin on violin and John Bisch playing the keyboard, perfrom at the Chibi Cafe Co.  The duo played during Make Music Upper Perk last year. A campfire sing-along by Steve Walker, left, ends the 12-hour Make Music Upper Perk event on Saturday, June 21.
