Margaret E. Simon
2025-06-23

            Margaret E. Simon, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025

at Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late Stanford C. Simon.

            Margaret born in Ambler to the late William and Bessie (Smith) Copeland, was a graduate of Ambler High School and was retired from American Olean Tile Company, Lansdale, PA.

            She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church (Sumneytown). She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, gardening and people. Some of her fondest memories included trips with her family to the beach.

            She is survived by a son, Richard T. Simon and wife Susan; grandchildren: Michael Stevens and wife Shelby, Sarah Stevens, Andrea Simon; great-grandsons: Reed and Grant Stevens. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon M. Stevens; grandson, William Moyer; siblings: Barbara Mann, Betty Lewis and Bernice Catanzaro.

            A visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 3104 Main St., Green Lane, PA 18054.
