Beverly Ann Mudd, 79, formerly of East Greenville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025. Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John
Harvey and Goldy (Simon) Weaver.
Beverly worked as a commodities buyer for the former Triangle Lumber Company in Quakertown and then for the former George S. Snyder Building Supply in Hatfield.
She and Larry Wentz also bred and raised Scottish Highland Cows on a farm on Fruitville Road. She was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Highland Cattle Association and the American Highland Cattle Association. Beverly also served her community in local government as a planning and zoning committee member. She was an avid rose gardener and raised many beautiful and wonderfully scented roses.
Beverly is survived by her children: Julie Heffentrager and her husband, Jason of Barto, Sherri Weber of Hereford, and Thomas Mudd II of Quakertown; and her beloved grandchildren: Thomas Basmajian, Jacob Mudd, and Caleb Foreman. One of eight children, she is also survived by her siblings: Darlene Weaver (Lee) of East Greenville, Goldy Weaver of New Britton, Gail Turner (Harry) of Lansdale, Jeffrey Weaver (Karen) of Maine, and George Weaver of Wisconsin as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Larry Wentz and her siblings, Carl and Marlene Weaver.
Services will be held privately with a celebration of life to be held later.
