Vera W. Connell
2025-05-06

            Vera W. Connell, 94, passed away on May 4, 2025 at her home in Pennsburg.

She was the widow of Beery W. Connell, Sr.

             Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Felaret and Mary (Ilkov) Wawrenuk.

            She was a 1948 graduate of Coatesville High School.

            Vera worked as a receptionist for 30 years at Red Hill Savings and Loan and Hill Financial. She then went on to work for the Resolution Trust Corporation until she retired in 1995. Never one to sit still, she continued working until the age of 89 most recently with United Integrity Group, Quakertown.

            Vera was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ. 

            Surviving are her 2 children: B. William Connell, Jr. (Carol) and Linda Connell both of Pennsburg; grandson Kyle Branin of Boyertown.

            Burial services will be private.

            Memorial contributions can be made to Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1121 Octorara Trail, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
