Rebecca A. (Schell) Ritter
2025-04-22

            Rebecca A. (Schell) Ritter, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at the age

of 89. Born on May 25, 1935, in Corning, PA, Rebecca spent her life devoted to family, friends, and her passions.

            Rebecca was a beloved mother to her sons, Dayton Ritter, Jr. (Kay) and James Ritter (Nancy), and a cherished grandmother to Alana Dreisbach, Garth and Jason Ritter, and loving great-grandmother to Whitney and Ella Dreisbach. She was the devoted wife of the late Dayton W. Ritter, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1990.

            For the last 22 years of her life, she enjoyed the companionship of Samuel Kozak, sharing many joyful moments together. She also cherished her puppy, Archie. She loved her family deeply and found great joy in their company, creating a lasting legacy of love and connection.

            Rebecca dedicated 32 years of her life to Knoll, Inc., where she worked in the metal department. An active member of the community, Rebecca was involved in various organizations, including member of Perkiomen Chapter #318 Order of the Eastern Star, Emmaus Mercantile, and the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club. She had a passion for stock car racing, enjoyed spending time at auctions, and delighted in playing bingo. Her zest for life and adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

            A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial to follow in Salem United Methodist Cemetery.  A night viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 28th at the funeral home and again from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Salem United Methodist Church, 6440 Powder Valley Rd., Zionsville, PA 18092.
