A group of consultants for Kraussdale Industrial Property, LLC attended the Tuesday, April 8 meeting of the Upper Hanover Board of Supervisors in anticipation of questions from the board, but none were forthcoming.
The supervisors gave final plan approval to the nearly 250,000 square foot warehouse on Kraussdale Road without further discussion.
Township solicitor Joseph Bresnan said that there were no outstanding engineering concerns and that the group had agreed to the improvements to Kraussdale Road, which are also necessary to the proposed development, the Residences at Upper Hanover, opposite The Shoppes at Upper Hanover shopping center.
The supervisors discussed two stream-related projects. A grant has been received for the Macoby Creek stream bank restoration, and township engineer Pete Eisenbrown will be seeking bids for the work.
Additionally, the supervisors considered solutions to the erosion on Yeakel Road and potential improvements, which could include shifting the road away from the creek and adding guide rails. The township staff will be reaching out to adjacent landowners to discuss possible easements for the work.
The supervisors approved expenditures for maintenance to the shop and Camelot Park restroom floors by Lansdale Power Washers, Inc. of $39,825 to fix and seal the floors, and $18,920 to Beyond the Leaf for the annual tree removal contract.
