The Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce held its Legislative Luncheon on March 27th at the Carriage House Restaurant. This event was the first in a series of three Legislative Affairs meetings scheduled throughout 2025 and featured Montgomery County Commissioners Thomas DiBello, Jamila Winder and Aliyah Furman Stanger from the Redevelopment Authority.
Winder and DiBello, along with Stanger, provided a comprehensive overview of initiatives and priorities, including economic growth strategies, workforce development efforts, grant opportunities, education and business partnerships, and the critical work being done to address homelessness across the county. The attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with the commissioners during a Q&A session, sharing their challenges and concerns as local business leaders.
The Legislative Affairs Series luncheon is sponsored by Gillespie Electric, Inc., and PPL Electric Utilities, and Spotlight sponsors Falk Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. and QNB Bank.
