Kenneth D. Miller
2025-03-19

Kenneth Dale Miller, 81, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday,

March 17th, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Weber) Miller.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Seasholtz) Miller.

Kenny was a 1962 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, where he played football. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Galveston. After his service, Kenny became the manager of the former Pennsburg Sporting Goods Store from 1985 to 1995. Following that, he was an auto salesman for Sands Brothers until his retirement in 2003.

He was a history buff and loved discussing politics. Kenny was a dedicated member of the Upper Perkiomen Kiwanis Club. An animal lover at heart, he cared for many pets throughout his life, finding great joy in their companionship.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Shirley; his son, Kenneth D. Miller II, of Glenview, IL; granddaughters, Lindsey, wife of James Stevens, of Rochester, NY, and Kennedy Miller, of Harleysville; and a great-grandson, Owen Stevens. He was predeceased by his siblings, Larry Miller and Judy Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th, at 11 a.m. at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, (P.O. Box 66), Palm, PA 18070. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest in Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Bucks County SPCA or the Gary Sinise Foundation in Kenny's memory.
