Sylvia J. Membrino
2025-03-18

Sylvia Joan Membrino, 86, of Hereford, passed away peacefully on Saturday,

March 15th, 2025. She was the daughter of the late John Bean and the late Birdella (Burgoyne) Bean Myers.

She was the beloved wife of Richard Membrino. They would have celebrated 66 years of marriage in April.

She loved her family, enjoyed cooking for them and many would say she made the best apple pie!

Sylvia was a believer in Jesus Christ and was a long-time member of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church in Emmaus where she worked with the children in Nursery and Junior Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in her beautiful flower beds. Sylvia worked at many different places during her career but was most well known as the Community Manager for the Hereford Mobile Home Community.

Along with her husband, Sylvia is survived by her daughters: Laura Eisenschmied and her husband, Mark, of Souderton, and Lisa, widow of Bruce Gordon of Center Valley; and her sons: John of Hereford, and his wife, Debra, and James and his wife Amy, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; her ten beloved grandchildren; and her eight beloved great grandchildren.

All are invited to gather from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. A Celebration of Sylvia's life will follow at 11 a.m. Following the service in the funeral home, she will be laid to rest in Limerick Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, 4702 Colebrook Ave., Emmaus, PA 18049 or to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh St., Allentown, PA 18104.

To offer online condolences, please visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
