Eugene R. Miller, 95, of Red Hill, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born

in Hosensack, he was the son of the late Henry Milton and Elizabeth Rebecca (Eschbach) Miller.

He graduated from East Greenville High School, class of 1947. Eugene formerly worked at Acorn Glove Factory, Kleinbach in Green Lane, Brunner's Bakery, and Knolls.

He was the loving husband of Elsie Ruth (Baseley) Miller, with whom he celebrated 75 years of marriage in March 2024.

Surviving along with his wife Elsie, are his children: Jean Johnson (Jesse) of Powder Valley, Kenneth Miller (Julie) of Myerstown, Thomas Miller (Karen) of Lancaster, Lynette Miller (Steven) of Vidalia, GA, Paul Miller (Lynda) of Bushkill, and Richard Miller (Rachel) of Coopersburg; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter: Barbara Jane Miller, and sisters: Elva Miller Shultz, Dorothy Miller, and Claire Miller Shelly.

Eugene was a lifelong member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Hosensack, where he filled numerous leadership and teaching roles. He enjoyed singing of his faith, not only in his church, but also with the Zion Choral Society and The ViCounts, a southern gospel group with which he toured and visited many churches in the eastern United States. Most of all, his faith was constant in all circumstances as he devoted himself to his Lord and his family.

A service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday February 28th at Hosensack Evangelical Church, 7609 Buhman Rd, Zionsville, PA 18092. All are invited to a viewing on Thursday the 27th from 6-8 p.m. at Falk Funeral Homes, 163 Main Street Pennsburg, PA 18073. Burial will follow the service at Hosensack Evangelical Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Grace EC Church, or Reaching & Teaching International (rtim.org).
