Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on their Super Bowl Win. It was well-deserved. Jalen Hurst winning the Most Valuable Play award was also well deserved. The win was a team-effort by the green and silver. Credit still goes to the Kansas City Chiefs for being the American Conference Champions
But, we can't let that win go without more garbage from social media; and there was plenty of it. One that particularly made me laugh was the mad-fingers of the haters who were quick to respond to a post made by Eagles CJ Gardner-Johnson regarding Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce, and a suggestion that Kelce should have stayed with his ex-girlfriend.
Instead of attacking Gardner-Johnson outright for the post, the social-media warriors organized an attack on The Kings Grill restaurant which is owned by CJ's mother, Delatron Johnson. It was a mass bombing of fake negative reviews and comments against the Florida eatery. One of the posts announced that "the Swifties have attacked."
There was one problem. The Super Bowl was played on Feb. 9th. The Kings Grill closed for good on Jan. 25th as Delatron is contemplating opening a new restaurant in the future.
The only thing to be had from this hasty, not well thought out social media attack was a very embarrassing egg on the faces of those who posted their recent experience at the closed restaurant.
To those who deleted their posts after the news of the restaurant's closing became public, you were too late. The screen shots have already gone viral.
Fly Eagles Fly.
