Ruth Annabelle Houck
2025-02-06

            Ruth Annabelle Houck, 89, formerly of Macungie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, with her daughter, Sherri and Jayne by her side. 

            Born in Palm, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Naomi (Minner) Lesher. She was the beloved wife of the late Arnold Houck who passed away in 1994.

            Ruth was a woodworker for Knoll and retired after 25 years. She was a longtime member of Salem United Methodist Church in Zionsville where she played the organ for many years.

            Ruth is survived by her daughter: Sherri-Jean Houck and her partner Jayne Rodgers, a daughter in law, Shirley Houck; grandchildren: Stephanie Houck and Joshua Houck and his wife Lindsay, her beloved great grandchildren: Issac, Leah, and Nathaniel; and a sister, Jean Banus of Harrisburg, PA. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen, who passed away in 2023.

            All are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at 10 a.m., with a service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bethany EC Cemetery, Barto PA.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in her memory to Salem United Methodist Church, 6440 Powder Valley Rd., Zionsville, PA 18092.
